Feed the Scorchpot Achievements

Forty trophies wired to the Codex. The developer did not want easy ones. Read the name before you ruin a good board hunting Spice.

Achievements and Trophies

Feed the Scorchpot ships forty Steam achievements on the paid app, plus a separate ten-trophy list on the demo. Near launch, Moravian added Statistics and Trophies on top of the Codex so you can track high scores, absurd Scorchpot totals, and the awkward asks that unlock the next dragon. Steam news was honest: the designer does not like easy achievements, so several trophies are mean on purpose.

This page is a map, not a datamine. Names below come from the public Steam achievement strip and demo lists. Hidden descriptions stay hidden. If your Codex disagrees, trust the build.

Use trophies as optional side quests after a clean contract, not as a shopping list in year two. Difficulty Modes and Dragons already change the hunger. A Spice hunt on a grain island is how you invent a forty-first way to die.

Public names on the full game

Steam’s highlighted strip at launch included:

  • Getting Warmed Up — the on-ramp trophy. Finish the thing it actually asks before you assume it is “play five minutes.”
  • Stockholm Syndrome — a joke title on a twenty-year rental. Likely a contract or relationship ask, not a combat feat.
  • Taming the Abyss and Devourer of Worlds — late-run or high-score energy. Do not open a Voracious save just to read the tooltip.
  • Little Rechard — a proper noun, probably a dragon, seed, or in-joke. Check the Codex; do not invent a wiki rumor.
  • Call of the Grind — named like a long-session trophy. The walkthrough is still the better grind.
  • Head Pats Included — pet the dragon. The store page brags that you can. Flavor does not move. Do it anyway.
  • Dragon Pong, Spreadsheep, Island Poker — toy names for systems that already exist (dice, farms, the island). They are invitations to play with the sandbox, not new modes.

The other thirty live in your Statistics screen. Completionists should expect a mix of “win a year fast,” “own a recipe for a long time,” and “make an absurd number.” Steam news mentioned winning a year in as few seasons as possible as the kind of thing people already try. That lines up with the press-your-luck pitch on the store page.

Demo trophies that leak the joke

The demo’s ten include Head Pats Included again, Feed the Duchess (win the third seeded run), Pineapple Pizza, Aged to Perfection (own Parmesanity for many years — fifteen in the public description), and The Spice Must Flow (produce at least 5,000 Spice in a single harvest). Those last two are the important tells:

Parmesanity is a scaling cheese recipe people already argued about in Steam discussions. Holding it for fifteen years is a demo-length flex. In 1.0, treat long-hold recipes as a Codex study, not a year-one buy if your island has no dairy.

Spice is a real harvest tag, not slang. A 5,000 Spice year is a scoring engine, which is why the sponsored gameplay video on Scoring Combos talks about avoiding spices for huge scores “the English way.” Both approaches exist. The trophy wants the pile. Your dragon might want the meal. Do not confuse them.

How trophies connect to the rest of the wiki

The Updates Hub records when Statistics and Trophies landed. The soundtrack page is unrelated except that you will hear a lot of harp while you fail Head Pats on purpose.

A sane completion order

  1. Finish Baron’s twenty-year deal once. The walkthrough is the exam.
  2. Pet the dragon. It is the only trophy that is also a joke you will quote.
  3. Unlock the next landlord only after you can explain why a tantrum year needs a spare recipe. Tantrums first.
  4. Chase Spice, Parmesanity, and “win in few seasons” after the board can survive being specialized. A Spice peninsula that burns is a trophy attempt, not an engine.

There are no promo codes attached to trophies. Steam unlocks them. This wiki will not invent a checklist of every hidden flag. When a patch adds more, the Codex moves first and this page follows.

If a trophy is ruining a good run, close the overlay. The dragon still wants dinner.
